My little one,
Late August of 2012 your Grandpa Koutsouros wasn't doing too well. He has a cancer known as Multiple Myeloma and it has spread to his spine. He will be going into surgery and, being my daddy’s little girl, I needed to be there for him and therefore we made our first trip down to Irvine, CA. You weren't even 2 months old!! (Our flight itinerary of your very first flight is below!)
I was nervous to be flying with you for the first time but you were just an angel especially since we bought our tickets that day and I only had 2 hours to pack and get to the airport. You slept most of the time on the plane but I tried to get you to eat so your ears wouldn't hurt. When we got in to California we went straight to UCI Medical Center to find out Grandpa’s surgery had been postponed, hence your second visit to CA, more on that later.
We spent most of our days in the hospital cheering up Grandpa. Attached is a picture of you two right before we headed home. Sometimes Grandma would take you outside to play in the sun. When we were at Grandma and Grandpa’s house (48 Lewis, Irvine, CA 92620) you loved to be in the bouncy chair. You were just starting, learning to kick and play and smile and talk. It was so fun to see you happy!
You also meet Uncle Timmy & Aunt Corrine for the first time. They just couldn't get over how cute you were. Plus we had just found out that Corinne was pregnant with your cousin!
You were a bundle of joy for Grandpa and he loved having you around to cheer him up. Thanks for traveling with me and brightening his day!
