Raising our children to be heirs

1 Chron. 28 & 29
Proverbs 22:6
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Truth:
God is the Provider of all things.
Myself and my children are heirs in the kingdom of God.
Do you treat them as such? Do you faithfully honor God? Do you prepare them for their kingship in this world to honor God above all else and be temple builders? Do you exort them in God's word? Do you train them up in the way they should go?
David was a faithful king and father. As he talked with God, God.made it clear that the comics ion to build his temple was not his job. David faithfully obeyed in not building and faithfully obeyed as he made preparations for the temple. He did not sit idle. He was obedient in his waiting and faithful in his work. When all the preperarions were made and it was time, he honored God openly as he handed over his kingship and duty to his son Solomon whom God had annointed. He also blessed him and prayed for him as he was sent. God then blessed Solomon and his reign.
Lord, I confess i do not see myself nor my children worthy of being heirs of your kingdom. Please forgive me for not seeing us as that for you died so that may be possible. Thank you for making us heirs of your kingdom! Thank you that you see each of us a valuable and so deeply loved. Help me to believe I am a heir and to live confidently and humbly as such. Help me to see my children through your eyes as so deeply loved and honored as they too, as your children are seen as heirs of your kingdom. May my children and I have a legacy of faithful temple building. Whether we are establishing plans, gathering goods or building, may we all do it for your glory!!
"Therefore we do not loose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
